the rest is still unwritten...

Hello hello -

I’m back stateside and I have to say I’m missing Europe a bit. Missing our bus, missing exploring all the cities with my little musical family, missing the shows. There are always challenges that come with being on the road but these shows we’ve played this year are just hitting in a different way. I love everybody who’s on the road with me so much and I love these audiences and I’m just remaining in this blissed out state of deep gratitude. 

My dear friend Anna St. Louis was the support act on the Euro run and goddamn she was just perfect. Her songs are beautiful, her performances were so special and she was the best addition to the hang. Anna bought a video camera at the start of the run and filmed us throughout. She edited some of her footage together with 2 songs that soundtracked the tour and held a surprise viewing on the last night. I’m sharing it below if you’d like to see! I think it really captures the essence of the last 4 weeks beautifully.

I have nothing much else to report, frankly. I feel somewhere between a raw nerve and an empty shell as I overcome jet lag and sleep deprivation. I leave for the next chunk of shows in a matter of days and in a way it’s nice to not slow down. The train keeps moving and we’re so excited to circle back and bring this show to a bunch of cities we missed on the first leg of the Tigers Blood tour.
